Meet Camille
A lifelong teacher, Camille has been a pioneer for women in the Church Education System, most recently as a professor and department chair for the Department of Ancient Scripture at BYU. Even though she’s retired from teaching professionally, Camille is a popular speaker in various forums on Latter-day Saint beliefs, especially as they relate to women. She has written multiple books on the role of women in the scriptures and served as a member of the Young Women General Board of the LDS Church and as a professor at the BYU Jerusalem Center. Born and raised in Utah, she and her husband enjoy traveling, reading, and working in the yard. She responds favorably to a great platter of nachos.
